Occasionally I like to post about something(s) that I love and think you should know about. Tonight is one of those nights! So here we go!
The first is my fabulous new bag. It’s from Tracy Joy–she has designed these wonderful camera/diaper bags and I think they are just brilliant! Today I threw my (very large) camera in it, an extra lens, battery, card…as well as my (very large) wallet, little point and shoot camera, diapers, wipes, cheerios, lip gloss, and even some baby leggings!
Check out how cute it is:

And while I’m lovin’ on Tracy–I MUST mention a fabulous site called Prop Insanity. Now, I know other photographers will find it pretty handy because it’s full of…you guessed it! Props! But, you mom’s out there who are always looking for the latest and greatest “finds” should check this site out too!
Next on my list: the wonderfully talented Sharon Hodges. We had my boys’ superhero birthday party a few weekends ago. When I was planning it and trying to figure out how to be the coolest mommy on the block, I decided to check out face painters. Sharon’s ad caught my eye so I gave her a call. OH MY GOSH am I glad she was the one we called! She was so talented and so great with the kids. I had no idea the kids would have so much fun getting their faces painted but they LOVED it. In fact, both of my boys cried when we had to wash it off that night (shhh!). And I’ve heard rumors of several other kiddos doing the same. Check out a few amazing faces she did:

If you need a face painter, I highly, highly recommend Sharon. Check out her website, call her at (469) 360-9218 or shoot her an email at shodges752@aol.com.
Let’s see–what else do I love? I love the fact that my sweet boy graduated from pre-k today. And that he promised me that he would let me take his picture. And he did.

I also love that he plays t-ball. And he’s so cute doing it, even after a very long (graduation) day.

Okay, I realize I didn’t give you any links just now–that was me bragging, plain and simple.
But for some more great finds, check out these places:
Blooming Babies This is a little shop on Etsy and she happens to be local! (here in Dallas)…anyway, I ordered a birthday bib for my girl. Yes, it’s a little over the top but it IS her first birthday! Still waiting to see the bib but so far, the customer service has been awesome! I requested a custom fabric and she didn’t hesitate to say yes.
Erika Jessop I know I’ve bragged about her before, but this is my incredibly talented painter friend. She is working on something so special for me right now (again, for the big first birthday party) and I cannot wait to see it! An earlier post I wrote about her can be found here. And her Etsy shop is here.
And last (for tonight) but definitely not least is Noggins n’ Bobbins. I’ve posted about this little shop before but it’s definitely worthy of another mention!
