I have to start this post by thanking the "S" family for coming back to Dallas to see me. They have moved since the last time we did a shoot and it was such a great surprise to hear from them. It was an even better surprise when they showed up with their three little beauties, who have all grown up so much! This shoot was all about their youngest and her adorable toothless grin. The first time I met her, I think she was only four years old. Look at her now–she’s absolutely gorgeous.

I could have taken pictures of her all day long. She was such a perfect little model.

Her sisters are twins, believe it or not! Just a few years ago, we were doing pictures of their toothless grins. The three of them:

Thanks, "S" parents, for wanting to capture this time in your girls’ lives and allowing me to be the one to do it. I loved every second of it. Your girls are so blessed to have you!
New Website! I know, I’m not very good with the jokes. It was all I could come up with this late at night!!
Some
of you may have already noticed that my new website is up. I’m still
waiting on a few minor changes to be done to it that are out of my
control but other than that, it’s ready and live. I have lots of new
stuff on there and lots of old favorites too. I hope you’ll all find
it easy to navigate and I really hope you enjoy the new online
galleries…I’m loving them so far.

Two things I want to point out:
1) Online galleries now only stay up for three days. So be sure
to send your password to all of your friends and families as soon as it
goes up.
2) I tend to get a lot of the same questions in emails over and over
again. I have tried to address a lot of these questions under the
"Details" section on the new site. I hope this is helpful for all of
you!
And lastly, I know I’m behind on posting sessions. I only have the one belly picture for
tonight (to go along with my really bad joke! ). I will definitely post
more of this belly later and I can assure you, once this baby comes
(soon! soon!), you will see lots of him/her.
To those of you waiting on "sneak peeks"…they’re coming, I promise!
Wouldn’t you know that teething would kick in for poor little "A" the day his family scheduled pictures?!? His older brother and sisters were in from out of town so this was a one-shot deal, which meant the whole family pulled together to try and help ease the pain! While we may not have gotten the typical "posed" family shots, we did get a few…"action" shots.
Being turned upside down worked for one…

Then the whole family sang a song to lure little "A" back to the scene (I love this one!):

Dad even tried the whole eat-the-baby’s-hand-to-make-him-laugh idea!

But in the end, Mommy’s lap was really where he wanted to be:

Thanks "S" family! You were fun! Hope everyone traveled home safely and I’m happy to report that "A" is feeling much better now!
I’m finally getting around to posting pictures from a shoot I did several weeks ago for The Bump. It was so much fun!! And let me tell you, if you’re pregnant or you know someone who is…schedule a baby shower at Solare Spa & Cafe! Actually, pregnant or not, THIS is the place to go for a fabulous massage and delicious food–all in one place!
Here are some pictures from the "baby shower" I shot. I had the pleasure of working with three beautiful pregnant women, the lovely Rosanne, who is the owner of Solare (not pictured), beautiful flowers, goody bags and cake!
Outside of Solare:

And finally:

Now that I have all of you aching for a massage and a fabulous day at the spa, check out Solare’s website! Oh, and be sure to pick up your new copy of The Bump that’s getting ready to come out. It’s an amazing resource for pregnant women in the Dallas area!
I just wanted to let you all in on my excitement! I have a new website I’ll be launching soon. Well, as soon as I can get that baby ready:-) I know I just changed it little bit not too long ago, but I’m doing a major overhaul this time.
Along with the new site, there will be some price changes to come (I know, that’s not the fun part!), your online galleries will be much easier to navigate, and you’ll be able to check out my calendar online to better help decide when to set up a session.
I’m also going to have to start a waiting list for those wishing to schedule a session with me. I have the most amazing clients! You have all been so wonderful when it comes to spreading my name and now I’m getting all booked up, thanks to you! I truly appreciate that.
More news to come but for now I’ll end with a picture from a while back of my son. People are always asking me about pictures of my own kids, so here ya go! (this is my oldest and the cutest little cowboy I’ve ever seen!)

But for now…we’ll focus on two! Meet the "E" family. This mother and son duo were quite a beautiful pair and I won’t tell you how tiny mom-to-be is (well, see for yourself). I don’t even think I said a friendly "hello" to her when she answered the door, I just exclaimed how great she looks…and she’s due in four short weeks.
Here she is with her son, J, in some special pictures before baby girl "A" gets here!

Thanks so much "E" family! And thanks for putting up with the heat long enough to get these pics!
