A Change of Pace

I had the pleasure of meeting the beautiful "H" recently. She was so sweet and bubbly, I could have taken pictures of her all day long. I had so much fun with her, and her fabulous mom!  "H" was having these pictures taken as a  surprise for her husband…their one-year anniversary is fast approaching and let me tell you, he will be floored when he sees his lovely wife in these!

Here she is in some of the ones suitable for this blog! :-)

And one more that’s a little different, just for fun. (Isn’t she stunning?)

Thank you so much, H, for such a FUN session. I can’t wait to work with you again!

Calm

I can’t believe I’ve titled a post about twins, "Calm" but you just had to be at this house to know what I’m talking about. I met the calmest parents EVER and they had just given birth to twins…AND have a 20 month old! They were such a beautiful family and I hope I get to watch these sweet babies grow over this next year.

Here are a few sneak peeks…

First is the sweet little girl who was weighing in between 4 and 5 pounds. That’s her daddy’s hand and if you look closely, you can see her tiny toes sticking out between his fingers.

Baby

Here is her "big" brother, weighing in over 6 pounds. He was extremely calm with long fingers and beautiful lips. Here he is doing a version of the newborn curl:

One of their extremely laid back parents with them:

And one of the whole family. Now, normally I wouldn’t show one like this–because I wouldn’t want to spoil anything for mom and dad–but, this means I might actually have one that I like as much or more than this one!

How’s that for an afternoon nap? And doesn’t their big brother look like an angel in this picture? He was adorable but preferred sitting in my lap over actually letting me take his picture. That’s okay, we still managed once he fell asleep :-)

Thank you so much "G" family. You are truly an inspiration to anxiety-filled mom’s like me!

Another beautiful bride…

who happens to be my best friend from college! Her wedding was…um…almost a month ago and I’m just now getting around to posting sneak peeks. In my defense, I have gone out of town four times in the past five weeks!

People ask me if I shoot weddings. The answer is no, I do not. Do you want to know why I shouldn’t do weddings? I didn’t even get any pictures of the bride and groom together at this one! (and only one of the bride in her dress)

Here are a few from their special day (actually, before the ceremony). It was an amazing weekend and these two have such a wonderful relationship. I’m so completely happy for you guys!!!

This was where we got our hair done–note the name!

And now, if there are any soon-to-be brides reading this and you don’t know what to get your bridesmaids, check out the following pic:

Al

She showered us with gifts but those pink bags were SUCH a good idea. Not only did they photograph well (!) but we were able to throw all of our "wedding stuff" in there and tote them around….looking fabulous of course!

Thanks so much for including me Al and David! Miss you both:-)

Tea For Two

I don’t normally like to post my **favorites** from the session until the parents see them…but…I had so much fun with these girls, I just can’t help but post one or two favs! I’m so used to all boy stuff–which is fun too–but this was a nice change of pace. It just doesn’t get any more feminine than a tea party!

Tea

And it’s kinda hard to get a completely natural look from someone who is already into modeling (yes, I know, poor me getting to work with a gorgeous little model!). But, this one made my heart go pitter-patter when I opened it up!

Since I already showed mom this one on my LCD screen, I thought I’d share it here too. Miss "E" in her big girl bedroom.

And I’m always a sucker for mom/daugher pics:

Aren’t they beautiful?

Well "F" family, I hope you like them! I’ll be in touch when the rest are finished and thank you so much for a great shoot!

On another note:  my internet is being extremely fickle right now so if you need me, don’t hesitate to call!
