A Family Portrait

This is the kind of "Family Portrait" I like to do! Look at all of the interaction and love in this family. Isn’t this the cutest? And it’s equally cute in black and white! But here’s the color version for now.

You may recognize some of the family members from this post.  I’m flattered that they asked me to come back so soon to capture more of their long-distance family.

Here is a picture of the "guys"…you wouldn’t believe the crazy dancing that was going on behind me to get those cute little boys to laugh.

And I’ll leave you with one sure to make you say, "aw" to yourself:

You said it, didn’t you? :-)

Thanks so much, "M" family. It was fun!

A Request for Color

This session was with a family I had the pleasure of working with last year. Because of the circumstances, we ended up doing most of their session in black and white. However, this year their twins were almost three, rather than almost two (can you imagine two year old twins?!?).  As you might guess, things went a lot more smoothly and I hope I acheived the results they were wanting.
By request, I present to you….color:

And, a sign of the times….they were all so in style!

All three of these kiddos have the most amazing eyes! See what I mean:

All for now…thanks so much for having me again, "W" family!!

Hands

Rarely do I have a "favorite" image that doesn’t include a face, but this is definitely one of my favorites from this session:

And when kids are involved, giggles are involved!

The last part of the shoot was filled with lots of mother-son moments and I, of course, am a sucker for those. I think this images speaks for itself:

Curious Cameron

This is Cameron. He was such a sweet little guy. And, after he warmed up to me (even if just a little!), I was able to get some cute expressions from him. We went for a walk and he was so intrigued by everything there was to see…especially the photographer-lady that was following him:

And he makes the cutest sound when he does this little face here:

Back at his house…he’s going through the "remote stage"…you know, the one were he wants any and every remote control that he can get his hands on! But, you know what he thought might be even more fun to play with? That’s right, my camera.

Luckily I’m still quicker than one-year-olds, but certainly not as adorable!

Took a small break to snap one of my own:
